This was the second time that our group of ladies have stayed at the Tipi adventure and I can only say that it’s somehow even better than before!
6 of us stayed for one night, canoeing down the wye on the first day before settling in for a night relaxing in front of our fire pits (indoor and outdoor fires!)
It is so relaxing and such good fun! The setting is gorgeous and the facilities are great. Showers and full toilets are provided (none of the old chemical portaloo toilets we had previously!) I can’t fault this place. It really is memorable for all the right reasons xxx

Thanks for a brilliant time. A wonderful campsite. Combined with the activities (we did canoeing) it made for a great time away with friends.The showers are brilliant! We discovered that booking a full day canoe (finishing at Tipi) then a half day (from Tipi) meant they basically left us to it from start to finish which was really great. It turns out Dominos delivers if you're in the mood for pizza one night...

We threw our office summer party here and it was absolutely fantastic, it doesn't feel like your camping one bit as everything is provided and so beautifully done! Its a simply idyllic location, and the team made everything so easy to organise. would also HIGHLY recommend canoe down the River Wye! Thank you again to everyone!

I have done this before with the previous owners but must say the change in location and the obvious effort and investment Sarah and her family has put in to this business has made it an even better experience. We did not want to leave. Sarah could not do enough for us and was quick to react to any questions or top up our wood supply. The combination of canoeing and Tipi living is a real winner and a welcome break from the normal hectic life style and situated in an absolutely beatiful part of the wye valley doesn't exactly hurt. I would recommend this to anyone who loves the great outdoors and wants to get away from it all for a couple of unforgettable days. Loved it, can't wait to go back next year.

I stayed at the beautiful Tipi Adventure with 9 of my uni friends and we could not have asked for a more perfect weekend! The Tipis were set up so beautifully for our arrival and all of the little touches that Sarah had thought of only added to the whole experience. The setting is absolutely incredible and canoeing down the Wye was so much fun and a great activity for us all! The fire pits are perfect for BBQ-ing for large groups and there’s a great area to eat and chill out by the fire! The shower/ toilet and washing facilities were 5* and always spotless (the showers are so powerful and warm!). Thank you Sarah for the most wonderful country retreat, I wish we could have stayed for longer and we can’t wait to come back! X

If you are looking for a weekend getaway to enjoy this current heatwave I can’t recommend Tipi Adventures highly enough - the setting is gorgeous, the tipis are cool and comfortable, the campsite facilities are really clean and functional (actual hot power showers!) and literally 50m away from the river where you can either sunbathe on the beach or go canoeing. My highlight though was the bbq pits and picnic benches, which meant we could cook and eat al fresco and stay out in the evenings - the tipis are spaced out really well to make sure no-one disturbs anyone though. Will definitely come back again!

Lovely spot. We arrived and departed by canoe, which made it all a bit more magical. The meadow is dotted with mature oak trees, and at the time of our visit was a Yellow Sea of tall grasses and buttercups. The tipis are really well equipped, and the provided fuel was just right to cook outside on the brilliant fire-pit grills and have an inside fire once the temperature dropped. Top tip - don't forget to pack some sort of cooking fat (Butter/oil)!

Honestly the best birthday surprise I could have ever received. The tipi's themselves are clean and spacious. Easily sleep 6 people. The 3 of us had plenty of space. The equipment provided was all in good working condition. We were provided kindling, coal and wood for the outdoor BBQ and the indoor fire, with the option to buy more. The toilets and showers were clean and stocked. The whole place is so picturesque. Quiet. Right on the river. We also did a river canoe through Wye Canoe and launched straight from the tipi site. Perfect. Honestly have had the best weekend ever. Turning 30 isn't all that bad!! Thanks guys!

We had such a fantastic weekend at the tipis! The scenery is absolutely stunning, set by a particularly beautiful part of the river Wye. We were able to hire canoes right by the camp site and had such a fun day canoeing down the river with a great pub lunch stop! The scenery is wonderful and the tipis look amazing against the green backdrop. The tipis themselves are so cosy and have everything you need! Comfy beds, water, stoves and the bbq and fire set up is great!! The facilities on site also have everything you need and are really clean. The tipis are also spread out from each other so no chance of hearing or disturbing others with plenty of space for running around and playing outdoor games, which was a real bonus!! Thanks for a great weekend, we will definitely be returning soon!!!

We stayed here as a large group of friends over the May Bank Holiday and had a fantastic weekend, helped by the sunshine!
The tipis are extremely comfortable and cosy and include all the necessities including washing up liquid and wood for the fires.
The toilets were only a short walk and always very clean with the showers being lovely and warm and powerful!
We all loved cooking over the fire pits all weekend.
The location is great and we took up the opportunity to canoe down the Wye on the Saturday.
Can’t wait to go back!

I cannot recommend Tipi Adventure enough! I recently stayed here for 3 nights with a very large group of friends, and I can safely say everyone had an absolutely incredible time! This is camping in a league of its own; the tipis are brilliantly well equipped, the showers are hot, and the location is perfect. The little touches like hot chocolate, marshmallows and fairy lights in the tipis are so thoughtful and really added to our weekend. There was also an organised canoeing trip for us starting at the tipi site and lasting all afternoon that was great fun. You go thinking how will I charge my phone, and by the end forget you even have a phone. Pure magic! Thank you so much for such an amazing weekend!

Superb set up, perfect for a quiet family escape. Checked in with Sarah, who welcomed us to the tipi, carefully explained the workings of the tipi and left us to it... just what we wanted and needed. Sarah was at the end of the phone and popped to the site twice a day. we had a wonderful time. my youngish boys made fire and cooked (put their phones away). had nature walks by the river and saw things us city people don't often see. thanks for helping us make wonderful memories.

We had a wonderful night's stay at Tipi Adventure during a 2 day canoeing trip down the Wye. it's perfectly located halfway between Hoarwithy and Monmouth making a perfect spot to stay the night. Sarah was very welcoming and the tipi very warm and cosy. Highly recommend.

I've just returned from a one night stay with 5 friends at Tipi Adventure. the attention to detail in the tipis is perfect, from sparkling fairy lights to cute glass jars of marshmallows! all essentials are provided, including a mini washing up liquid, sponge and cloth. We ordered duvets which were super cosy! wood, matches and coal are provided for the fire pits and we were able to order more.
Sarah is a fantastic host, welcoming us and showing us all the ropes.
toilet and shower facilities are clean and well stocked with loo roll, hand wash and paper towel.

We recently returned from 3 nights with Tipi Adventure. we were met by Sarah who showed us to our tipi and confirmed details of the activity we had booked, she was really professional and was on hand via phone/text if we needed anything which was perfect.
the tipi was very well equipped, all the details had been thought about, we did literally only need to bring food, drink and clothes!
the toilets and showers were beautifully clean and wow the showers lovely and warm and very powerful!..
having the big oak trees in the field was lovely especially as we had one morning where it was a little drizzle, we moved one of our three benches under the canopy of the tree and cooked breakfast happily!
it was beautiful to watch the evening and morning mist full and rise! along with 2 outdoor fire-pit options and plenty of supplied logs etc... this really was a great outdoor adventure without any traditional camping stresses!!
we hired Canadian canoes for a day (which Sarah organised in advance), this was fantastic as we opted to launch from our tipi location and end in Monmouth, the company that supply the canoes were fantastic, great advice, all the equipment you needed and were very flexible with our timings and needs. I highly recommend this!
All in all I would highly recommend giving this a go.

The tipis were great; we all loved that you provide everything that is needed down to a jar of marshmallows for toasting! my fiancee and I have stayed with you before (when it was with the previous owners) and you have maintained everything to the same standard we enjoyed before and have improved some things such as the toilets and showers.
I would like to say Sarah is brilliant and really sweet and always friendly - she even went off to pick us up some milk when we realised (just after we had arrived) that we had forgotten ours. fantastic customer service and a great welcome too and ambassador for Tipi Adventure.
the toilets and showers were really clean and Sarah was there every morning checking and cleaning them so that they stayed tidy.

Even before we arrived for our stay I was thoroughly impressed by the more than helpful attitude of Sarah from Tipi Adventure. She was happy to answer any queries from our party which made planning the trip very easy.
On our arrival we were pleasantly greeted and given a good introduction to the site. the facilities were superb and even better than expected. the tipis themselves were very clean and well kept with everything you could want or need. you could not ask for more.
the toilet and washing facilities were as required and kept very clean. the bbq, fire and cooking utensils were great and perfect for scenic camping. the tipis contained fire equipment, complimentary tea and coffee and comfy duvets and pillows. it is clear great attention had been made to make your stay as hospitable as could be. all members of our group were impressed.
I would thoroughly recommend Tipi Adventure to all and looking forward to returning again with my family.

Absolutely brilliant! Far exceeded our expectations.
go canoeing, walk through the woods and meadows to kerne Bridge.
No need to worry about pubs or restaurants when you can eat outside your tipi in such a magical environment!
